Nitrous Horsepower™ cams are designed to maximize performance in Engines equipped with nitrous oxide or superchargers. Carefully tailored lobe profiles deliver excellent performance without nitrous and incredible gains when nitrous oxide is used. The Valve timing of Nitrous Horsepower™ Camshafts is designed to optimize exhaust scavenging under blown or nitrous assisted conditions. When the exhaust Valve opens several Degrees earlier, the Engine is better able to scavenge larger amounts of exhaust gases which were produced by the induction of nitrous and added fuel. This is the ultimate Camshaft for nitrous and supercharged Engines. An earlier exhaust opening and a longer duration make for a very pronounced performance sound. If you are looking for that Pro Street Camshaft sound, the Nitrous Horsepower™ cam is for you.
