QA1's Bronze Race Carbon Steel metric rod ends are generally appropriate for low load, high oscillation applications. These rod ends are protective coated for corrosion resistance and are available with left and right hand threads. In QA1’s 3-Piece rod end, the ball is pressed into a sleeve that is swaged around the ball. After swaging, the unit is called the insert. The O.D. of the insert is then turned down and faced off to square up the sides for staking into a rod end body. This unit offers better ball-to-race conformity for tighter tolerances.
