The Tera60 high pinion axle has been designed with packaging in mind. The housing has been engineered for maximum ground clearance and suspension up travel. Finite element analysis (FEA) tools were used throughout the many axle development stages to optimize the strength while reducing the weight of the axle components; ensuring the Tera60 would handle the rigorous off road it will be subject to. When compared to the CRD60 front axle, the Tera60 boasts several improvements.
