Unlike traditional convoluted tubing, PowerBraid does not have that hard plastic look. The best description is that it looks like braided hose and it really dresses up an engine compartment. Second is that it is again, unlike convoluted tubing exceptionally easy to work with. The soft, almost cloth like material has a lateral split along is length that easily closes in around the wire bundle without the need for additional tape or wire ties. The 10 Mil braid is lightweight and flexible. The 25 Percent edge overlap allows coverage around inline plugs, connectors and splices. PowerBraid will bend to a tight radius without distorting or splitting open and, unlike full rigid tubing, will not impair or affect the flexibility of the harness. Finally, it's just an amazing material. PowerBraid retains its shape and rigidity from minus 103 Degree Fahrenheit to 260 Degree and has a melt temperature of 450 Degree.
