Northern Radiator is also introducing a NEW line of performance charge air coolers (or Intercoolers) to compliment and work in conjunction with our new diesel pickup radiators. "Chips," turbos and towing add heat and boost pressure. Stock charge air coolers are designed to handle boost pressures of approximately 40 PSI and inlet Temperature of 300 Degree. Northern Radiator performance diesel pickup charge air coolers are engineered and designed to handle up to 100 PSI and 500 Degree inlet Temperature. Constructed with heavy duty cast tanks. Extruded mico-fin tubes. Our tube technology adds needed additional strength throughout the core to dissipate more heat and handle higher boost pressure.
