Until now to follow the rules of most sanctioning bodies a remote recovery tank would have to be plumbed off the overflow hose. No need with this dual tank system which has a 1-1/4 Inch quart expansion tank with an attached 1 quart recovery tank. An added bonus is that the recovery tank has a built-in siphon tube which draws the overflowed coolant back into the expansion tank as the coolant cools down. The end result is savings in complexity, weight, clutter, cost, maintenance and forgetting to install a recovery tank off the expansion tank.
