The speakers are designed for whatever the powersports customer can throw at it. The rugged, UV protected, high temp ABS provides a durable housing by employing a dual wall design. The 6.5 Inch speakers are polypropylene and the tweeters are PEI (Polyetherimide) so they can handle getting wet, with a IP rating of IPX6, but still perform like they were intended. A passive 3 Inch radiator provides more bass response to give the speakers a more robust sound. To make the speakers more versatile, they come with two mounting damps with rubber inserts (2 Inch and 1-3/4 Inch) and two separate rubber inserts (1-7/8 Inch and 1-1/2 Inch) so that there are 4 mounting size options. Also the speakers can be rotated so they can be positioned optimally for the best sound.
