K&N typhoon air intake system is a free flowing, mandrel bent aluminum tube air intake is designed to replace the restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing. It is engineered to significantly reduce air flow restriction, smoothing and straightening air flow. This allows your engine to inhale a larger amount of air than the factory air intake for more acceleration throughout the engine’s RPM range. Helps to keep air entering the intake away from the heat coming off the engine. The smooth intake tube funnels air directly into the engine’s throttle body for a guaranteed power gain. The intake tube accommodates the factory mass air sensor and crank case vent hose.
