The K&N air intake system replaces the restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing in specific Polaris Ranger models. K&N air intakes are designed to dramatically reduce intake restriction as they smooth and straighten air flow. This allows your engine to inhale a larger amount of air with less effort than the factory air filter assembly. More air means more usable power and acceleration throughout the engine’s RPM range. Air is directed through a high-flow air intake tube and into the engine’s throttle body for a guaranteed power gain. The large, tapered cylinder shaped air filter is washable and reusable. The air intake assembly also accommodates the factory crank case vent hose with an additional small K&N air filter that mounts onto the heat shield.
