The K&N AirCharger air intake system replaces the restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing in some Ford Fusion models. K&N intakes are designed to dramatically reduce air intake restriction as they smooth and straighten air flow. An aerodynamically engineered intake tube directs air into the turbo inlet for a guaranteed power gain. That means your engine can inhale a larger amount of air than the factory air filter assembly. More air means more usable power and acceleration throughout the engine’s RPM range. The chrome-topped, oversized K&N high-flow air filter can be used for up to 100,000 Mile before servicing is needed, depending on driving conditions. This air intake installs using the existing factory mounting points. The tube accommodates the factory emissions control devices including the inlet air temperature sensor and EVAP vent line. Installation is relatively easy, usually taking 90 Minutes or less.
