The JMS Plug and Play Mass Air Wiring Harness is designed to convert the 1996 to 2004 Mustang to use a 2005 and newer Mustang slot-style mass air flow sensor. The harness has the standard OEM 4/6-pin connector that is used on 1996 to 2004 Mustangs at one end, and the standard 6-pin connector used on the 2005 and newer Mustang at the opposite end. You can also use the IAT (inlet air temperature) sensor built-in to the OEM slot-style sensor on a 2001 to 2004 Mustang with no modifications. 1996 to 2000 Mustangs require you to cut/splice the factory IAT wiring harness and use the 2 additional open/un-used pins on the slot-style 6-pin connector for output back through 1996 to 2000 wiring harness.
