The engineers at Injen designed a custom battery relocation box that allows the airbox to be moved safely to the front of the engine bay. This swap provides two benefits. The first benefit is moving the airbox closer and in direct alignment with the factory air inlet to feed cool, fresh air to that hungry turbo diesel. The second benefit from moving the airbox forward is the path for the intake tract is now smoothed out and requires far less bends. This results in a further reduction in restriction and increased power output. The Injen EVO9004 cold air intake system for our 2017 to 2019 Ford F-Series Diesel Truck is truly on the next level. From the one-piece sealed housing that utilizes our patent pending Twist-Lock technology to securely attach our massive SuperNano-Web Dry air filter, to the seamless fitment of our battery relocation tray, to our patented internal MR Technology that ensures maximum performance with zero risks of check engine lights, all the way down to engineering a kit that utilizes all factory harnesses to avoid unnecessary extensions that our competition uses, to provide a simple and OE style install. Injen has pulled out all the stops to provide you with the best intake possible for your 2017 to 2019 Ford F-Series Diesel Truck. The EVO9004 battery relocation tray is molded from crosslinked XLPE polyethylene and allows the airbox to moved to the font of the engine compartment for a cooler air charge and reduced restriction. From the Stainless Steel Band Clamps with an inner protective liner to the reinforced automotive grade silicone coupler, every aspect is covered for a perfect and secure fit.
