The standard duty Hedman Hedders in this section come from the factory with an extremely durable, protective ceramic metallic coating. Hedman Hedders, pioneered the use of ceramic metallic coatings, back in the early 1980's. Previously used exclusively in the aerospace industry, Hedman Hedders recognized it's potential for improving both the lifespan, and functionality of exhaust headers. Standard duty, Hedman Hedders are manufactured using 18 Gauge, mandrel bent primary tubes (some models built using thicker 16 or 14 Gauge tubing), and flanges (some models use 3/8 Inch flanges). Some header applications may require the use of special engine mounts, mini starters, etc. additionally, some stock or aftermarket components may interfere with the proper installation of these headers on your vehicle.
