G2 Axle & Gear is proud to introduce our new CORE 44 axle housing for the 2007 and up Jeep JK. Utilizing the strongest and latest generation, high pinion Dana 44 gear design, we have developed a whole new housing to handle the heavy loads that would normally bend the stock housing. Our housings are engineered to be a direct replacement for the stock Dana 30 or Dana 44, and will accept stock Dana 44 ring and pinions, stock Dana 44 axle shafts, and aftermarket lockers. They include heavy duty forged inner C ends and 3Inch x 0.250 Inch thick wall tubing to prevent bending. All brackets are designed around stock mounting points, and are laser cut and CNC formed from 3/8 Inch steel for added strength. We have also gusseted and reinforced any weak points to prevent damage to the brackets. Our housing features a unique adjuster nut system to set back lash and carrier bearing preload.
