D-mat solves the need for a lightweight heat barrier and insulation for headliners, doors, trunks, rear bulk heads and more. Advanced thermal-acoustic insulation designed for under head liners, doors, package trays and other areas. Extremely light weight and pliable d-mat is the perfect choice for these areas. At only 12 Millimeter thick, compressible and pliable, d-mat can be used in even the most difficult areas to insulate providing thermal protection and keeping your interior cool. Made from a polymer blend with a scrim backing d-mat can be used in applications up to 325 degrees Fahrenheit while showing up to an 65 Percent reduction in heat. D-mat has exceptional acoustic absorption, meets flammability rating and is mildew and bacteria resistant. D-mat is recommended for all high performance applications including show vehicles, project cars and trucks, muscle cars, street rods and vintage vehicles; most any application or location except for the floor where boom mat’s under carpet lite is preferable.
