For those racers required to use OEM stamped steel-type rocker arms, or for enthusiasts seeking to built the most reliable stock-type high performance engine possible, Crane’s race-proven Nitro-Carb™ rocker arms are the answer. The stampings are reinforced in critical areas, such as the pushrod cup and fulcrum, and are specially treated for surface hardness and wear resistance. As such, they provide 3 to 5 times the resistance to wear, fatigue and fracturing in these high-stress areas. Of equal importance is the fact that these rockers are precision die-formed from heat-treated steel and exceptionally ratio accurate. Knowledgeable engine builder will confirm that OEM rockers are made to comparatively loose tolerances and will be all over the map in terms of accuracy.
