The XR700 is a sophisticated points-to-electronic ignition conversion that is now in its 6th generation and proven to be the most reliable conversion of its type on the market today. It replaces many OEM, Bosch, Lucas, Hitachi and ND units, and provides increased timing accuracy. An optical trigger replaces the points, and the ignition unit is fully potted for protection from dirt, moisture and vibration. When used in conjunction with a Crane high performance canister-style coil the system delivers a powerful, accurate pulse.
