ARP the world leader in fastener technology has just released a new Custom Age 625 Plus® head stud kit for 1989 and later Subaru (EJ series) DOHC 4 cylinder application. Kit include a set of twelve Custom Age 625 Plus® head stud, twelve parallel ground washer, twelve 8740 chrome moly steel 12 point nut and a 1/2 Ounce pack of ARP ultra torque fastener assembly lubricant. All Custom Age 625 Plus® stud are centerless ground, heat treated prior to thread rolling and machining, and are nominally rated at 270,000 PSI. These fastener deliver a 55 Percent increase in tensile strength and are reusable as compared to the OEM Torque to Yield (TTY) head bolt.
