ARP the world leader in fastener technology has just released a new Pro series connecting rod bolt kit for Carrillo connecting rod. Kit include eight cap screw style rod bolt that are nominally rated at 270,000 PSI tensile strength and a 1/2 Ounce pack of ARP ultra torque fastener assembly lubricant. Both kit feature 1/4 Inch 28 TPI diameter thread, 1.4 Inch underhead length and a 5/16 Inch diameter wrenching head. Kit is manufactured from Custom Age 625 Plus® material. While material offer excellent fatigue strength and immunity to hydrogen embrittlement and atmospheric corrosion, Custom Age 625 Plus® offer a more cost effective solution when choosing high strength "super alloy" for use on connecting rod bolt. Optimum design, enhanced reliability and increased strength are the main attribute of ARP Pro series connecting rod bolt.
