The new AIRAID intake features a specially designed one-piece roto-molded intake box that draws outside air from the factory cold air duct location while having a unique shape that promotes airflow all the way around the filter. The all-new air box design utilizes a lid with a Plexiglass window that adds underhood styling while keeping the filter isolated from hot engine compartment air and allowing the user to keep tabs on filter condition. The massive air filter is available with traditional oiled filter media in red or SynthaMax dry media in red, blue, or black. All AIRAID filters are washable and reusable while carrying a lifetime warranty. An all-new roto-molded intake tube connects the air box assembly to the throttle body on the engine. Designed to maximize airflow and eliminate restrictions, the 3.7L intake tube includes a specially formed venturi to ensure accurate MAF sensor readings. Due to the unique design of the intake tube and venturi no tuning is required with this system; however, the intake has also proven to maximize the benefits of aftermarket tuning.
