Founded in 1991, Air Design is as a leading product development and state-of-the-art specialty equipment production plant that currently exports to more than 30 countries worldwide.
For more than 28 years, Air Design’s vehicle styling division has been designing, developing, and producing special edition and original equipment (OE) interior and exterior accessory components made from plastic, aluminum, and steel for the automotive industry.
The company proudly employs approximately 250 engineers, designers, and plant personnel from over 15 different countries that collaborate at its plant in Cuernavaca, Mexico City and at Air Design USA in Oceanside, California.

Adjacent to Air Design’s Product Development Center is our Manufacturing Plant, where design concepts are validated through every stage to final production. Think quicker turnaround, efficient quality control, and lower logistical costs.
This strategic proximity grants our designers and engineers direct access to the Manufacturing Plant, allowing them to prove all manufacturing processes and monitor production start-up to ensure successful implementation of their program.
Our highly advanced production environment incorporates state-of-the-art equipment including 10 PUR High-Pressure Reaction Injection Presses, multiple Thermoforming Machines, 6-Axis Trimming Robots, and an ecologically responsible Semi-Automated Paint Line.
With comfortable supplementary capacity and room for additional growth, our manufacturing team is currently around 250 associates performing a wide variety of duties.
